Our Story

From pharmacy counter to painter's desk

Studio Chelseawas founded by a pharmacist who traded the pharmacy counter for a painter's desk, drawn back to a lifelong fascination with the history of botanical medicine and vintage apothecary illustration.

That fascination grew into two collections: The Apothecary Artist, detailed watercolour studies of the plants once used in centuries-old remedies, and Forest & Field, a line of jewelry and gifts made with real pressed flowers and earth-inspired materials.

How We Work

Every piece, made with intention

Real Botanicals

Every pressed-flower piece uses real, hand-gathered blooms — never printed or plastic.

Original Art First

Every illustration begins as an original watercolour painting before it becomes a print.

Small Batch, By Hand

Nothing is mass-produced — each piece is made to order in a Kingston studio.

A Little Nostalgia

Vintage-inspired designs meant to feel like a keepsake from the very first wear.
